Craigs list - I love this site because you can find all sorts of great things at great prices. Many of the posters need to get rid of everything today and you can get great deals
Big Lots - I love to scour here and find little nick-nacks/assesories for projects. Many times clients run out of money or don’t want to spend anymore money when the big stuff is adding up and going over budgets. It is hard to say no to a $10 vase or great frame for next to nothing.
Marshall’s pick a store near you and go hunting.

1st Dibs - This is like being able to shop in every boutique that sells great antiques all over the US and Europe. They have a great website and I have found some amazing pieces at good prices. Also, this is a great website if you want to get inspired. No knockoffs here, this is the real McCoy. Mid-Century design at it’s purest form.
Z Gallerie - No more just bad poster art. They are really keeping up with the trends and getting good design to the masses at great prices.
Chiasso - This is a West Elm-ish catalogue business and they focus more on Italian inspired modern home décor. Some of their stuff can be a bit over designed and too too whimsical but a good place to pick up a thing or two.
CB2 - Crate & Barrel's hip little sister. The prices are dirt cheap and they have some great designs. Very modern and clean.
NOTE: When researching/buying online really make sure that you know what their return policy is. You would think you have not seen it and you would be able to return something. Not the case always.
Hudson Reed - Super cheap and really good looking kitchen and bath hardware. Like a third of the price or less.
Bellacor Lighting - They have a huge selection of lighting. Some is creepy and wrong but there are some cute things and the prices are awesome.

Farrow and Ball- This is an English paint company that makes the most divine paint. A very limited palette so it is easier to choose colors, not so overwhelming. The paint has so much pigment in it so the colors really have a life of their own. The staff is super helpful and sweet. The names of the colors are funny i.e. Dead Salmon, Clunch… Treat yourself to amazing paint. They also sell some classic wallpapers.
